For the last six months, I’ve been sending you a monthly newsletter, where I share about my experiences in floral design. Thank you so much for following along!
Writing these posts and sharing them with you has truly become a monthly highlight. Even when I struggle to find the time to write, I’m always happy when I can carve out the time to express myself, especially about my business and everything I learn running it.
Introducing a New Tier
Starting next month, I’ll be offering a special paid tier for my newsletter subscribers. You will always be welcome to keep your free subscription. I’m thrilled to have you following along!
Here’s a breakdown of what free and paid newsletter subscribers will access starting in March!
Free
Without needing to adjust anything, you’ll continue to receive my monthly posts, which feature a personal, light, short, and sweet approach to floral design. Free posts will mainly center on the experiences of working in the floral design industry. They will tell stories, illustrate the magic of flowers, and inspire curiosity.
There’s romance in the floral design industry, like talks with vendors about what makes an Italian ranunculus so much dreamier than one from California. I love sharing these flowery moments with you! Why? Because sharing these moments with you builds connection and community and they might even inspire you in your own creative work and life.
Paid
The paid subscription will include the free post, plus a bonus post on all the juicy whys and hows behind running a successful floral design business. The less romantic parts, the grittier parts that include timelines, spreadsheets, and contracts to cover your butt. From building an arrangement to building a business, I’ll cover all the mechanics and growing pains.
Some of what you’ll get as a paid subscriber, starting in March:
Flower recipes and arrangement instructions directly from my portfolio
Floral design tips and tricks that I don’t even share in my flower workshops
True stories—successes and failures from 15 years of floral design experience
Tools to help you succeed in floral work—or whatever your business is!—and to help you avoid common mistakes
Information about creating contracts, including tips on handling challenging situations with clients and vendors, on building your own flower recipes and keeping to a budget, and on shopping for wedding and event flowers
Hard-earned wisdom on starting a business, keeping it running, and planning ahead for growth.
I’m passionate about teaching, and I love to host in-person flower workshops and private one-on-one classes for those interested in learning more about floral design. I’ve developed this newsletter as a way to share and teach in a more accessible way—you don’t have to live near my business to connect and learn with me! My private classes start at $500, so the paid option at $5 per month is truly a steal!
I’m so excited to keep in touch with all of you and to start diving a little deeper and sharing more behind-the-scenes insights with my paid subscribers very soon!
